Hey!

I’m Caitlyn Wallinger: stay-at-home Mom to two wild and rambunctious boys, and wife to my college sweetheart (Go SSU Seawolves!).

I spend my days chasing after Maximus the Great, and Levi the Fierce. These two boys have filled my life with more joy than I could have imagined. They have also given me a deeper understanding of the term ‘chaos.’

Becoming a Mom has helped to reignite my love of writing. It’s always been my favorite creative outlet, but little did I know how much material I’d uncover once I had kids.

I’ve found that my definitions of happy can be spelled out in three letters: Max, Lee, Mom, Dad. Growing into my role as Mom, witnessing my husband be a Dad, and parenting Max and Lee are my greatest blessings. Each of these three letters have helped to make me who I am. They are constant sources of pride, happiness, and gratitude.

Some random facts about me:

• I’m a hand model (insert Zoolander or Seinfeld jokes here)

• I love pineapples, and the color mint green

• I’m obsessed with all things pumpkin (and I’m not one bit embarrassed about it)

• We live in Sonoma, so wine flows freely. You’ll usually find a Rosé, or ice cold Chardonnay in my glass

• I was a Psychology major in college

• I’m tied as a 9 and a 2 on the Enneagram

• I love to hum and sing along to songs, even when I don’t know the words

My hope for this space is that it will inspire you, and occasionally make you laugh. Because, there can never be too much light or laughter in our lives.
