Weekly Happies - Vol. 12
THINGS THAT BROUGHT ME JOY, MADE ME SMILE, FAVORITE THINGS...
Da-da-da-da Date Night! (A little Hotel Transylvania 3 humor for all you parents out there.) Wes and I rode our bikes to The Bar at MacArthur Place for drinks, and then made our way to Wit and Wisdom for dinner on Friday night. It was so much fun! I highly recommend the Ashes Than Dust cocktail, and The Chocolate Bar for dessert.
Mother Mule Pop Up Signing. We had such a great time on the Plaza last Saturday! The boys got dressed up, had their hair gelled, and we got to meet lots of new friends. Thank you to all who came by to say hello!
Picnics on the Bed. The boys asked to eat dinner on Mom and Dad’s bed on Saturday night, and it turned into a fun family picnic and movie viewing.
Mother’s Day. I gotta say, my boys make Mother’s Day very special. They ordered breakfast and lavender mimosas from my favorite spot, and surprised me with my first pair of Birks! We spent the afternoon by the pool with family, and it was a lovely day.
Peonies. These are just the happiest flowers. And they had them at Trader Joe’s this week!
Speaking of Trader Joe’s. Could this store get any better?! I don’t go very often, but every time I do it’s an experience. I want one of everything. This week I found GF Coffee Cake Muffins, and they are delicious!!
Max Reading to Me. I’ll be honest that reading has been a bit of a fight for us. So, when I found Max in his room, beaming with pride because he had read an Elephant and Piggie book, I wanted to cry. He then asked if he could start over and read it to me. Serious proud Mom moment.
Levi Wearing Goggles. I just can’t. It’s the cutest thing in the entire world.
Mother Mule in the News! My hometown newspaper did a surprise feature on Mother Mule, and our recent visit to Latrobe Elementary. My Mom called me early Thursday morning to tell me that my Nana had seen me in the Mountain Democrat. It made my day! #smalltownlove
Mother Mule in HARDBACK! There’s a lot of Mother Mule joy lately. You guys, you can now order hardback copies of Mother Mule from Amazon AND Barnes & Noble!
