Things that brought me joy, made me smile, favorite things...
Levi’s Spontaneous “I Love You’s.” I realize I’m biased, but this kid is seriously the cutest.
Max’s Imagination. He comes up with the most elaborate tales and adventures in his mind, and it’s such a gift when he shares them.
Baseball. We had a weekend full of little league fun, and it felt almost normal! We even got our uniforms, and oh my cuteness! A bunch of 5 and 6 year olds running around in baseball pants, jerseys, and hats is just about the sweetest thing you’ll ever see.
Our Neighborhood. I gush over this hood a lot. It’s that good. We sip wine in the street while the kiddos ride bikes. We meet up at the park, coffee in hand, in the early hours of the weekend. The kids bounce from one house to the next. It feels like some of the last bits of that sweet innocence in a rapidly changing world.
My New Purse. You guys. I find so much joy in finding a good luxury brand dupe, and this purse is EVERYTHING!
Instant Pot Sticky Chicken Thighs. This is probably my favorite Instant Pot recipe. Well, this and risotto.
Freshly Laundered Sheets. There is something so comforting about climbing into a freshly laundered bed at the end of a long day.
My Love Bomb Co Mugs. The sayings on these mugs make you want to wake up and kick ass.
Spontaneous Dinners Out. A need to gas up the truck turned into a surprise family dinner out on Wednesday. It was such a delightful turn of events, and I have to say that The Red Grape is much better than Mom’s cooking.
Ice Cream on the Front Porch. This is seriously my happy place. Sitting on our front steps, watching ice cream drip down those little fingers and cheeks are memories that will stay with me forever. (I’m not crying, you’re crying.)
