Weekly Happies - Vol. 10

  1. Spontaneous Day Trips. We decided to get a change of scenery last weekend, and we drove into San Francisco for the day. We had lunch, played on the beach, and got a sundae from Ghirardelli Square. It was perfect. We also listened to ‘Little Red Corvette’ approximately 324 times per Max’s request.

  2. Playing Wii in the Garage. We hooked up the old Wii system a while back, and every once in a while we remember it’s connected. Max, Levi, and I had some epic battles on Monday afternoon.

  3. Morning Cuddles with Max. There is nothing sweeter than hearing that little voice say, “Good morning, Mommy!”

  4. My First Podcast Interviews. What a week for Mother Mule! I loved chatting with Stephanie of Brave Babes, and Heather and Brittany of Okayest Moms. It was such a treat to share the interviews with my family and friends. Have you listened yet? I’d love to hear what you thought!

  5. Mother Mule School Tour! As this is hitting your inboxes, I’m getting ready to head out for my first in-person school event! (A huge thank you to Cheryl for making this happen.)

  6. The Baby Birds in Our Yard. Each year we have a new family of birds build a nest in our backyard and it is the sweetest thing. This year the family has setup in a spot that’s more visible, so we’ve got a great vantage point for feeding time. We’re finding much joy in watching the mama come back to feed the 4 babes.

  7. Home Chef. We’ve been using this service for about a month now, and I’m really liking it. The recipes are quick and easy, and so is the cleanup. Interested in giving it a try? Here’s a link for a BIG discount on your first order.

  8. The BeautyCounter Sale. My beauty routine is very simple, and most of the items are from BeautyCounter. This is my FAVORITE lipstick. I’ve shared about it a bunch on social media, and I always get asked where it’s from.

  9. Friendship Bracelet from Meghan Bo Designs. One of my besties gifted me this bracelet from our fave jewelry maker, and it is so special to me. Not only is it gorgeous, but it reminds me of my dear friend whenever I wear it.

  10. A Fresh Pedi. No, I haven’t ventured out for a professional service yet, but there is nothing like a fresh coat of polish on your toes. I’m currently obsessing over the new Lava and Hibiscus. I’m thinking I need these for our Hawaii trip coming up. ;) (If you haven’t already ordered from Olive and June, you can score 10% off your first order by signing up for emails!)
