Weekly Happies - Vol. 9
Weekly Happies
Things that brought me joy, made me smile, favorite things...
Pools and Water Slides. There is nothing quite like the simple joy of seeing kids playing in water. The laughter and smiles are magical.
Max’s First Baseball Game. He had two great hits, and a couple great plays, too! The grin he was wearing as he ran to first base was priceless. And seeing him run to Coach Dad for a high five and hug was even sweeter.
My First Podcast Interview! OMG guys, I’m so excited about this! I was nervous, and I doubt I was very eloquent, but what a thrill! Stay tuned to hear more about my chat with The Okayest Moms.
Wallinger Fam ‘Muddy Buddies.’ This is our take on the white chocolate mix. It is SO easy, and SO delicious. Click here to print out our recipe.
My Second Podcast Interview! Two in one week?! This conversation was such a gift. Stephanie and I met a couple years ago through our direct sales businesses, and blogging. She is a shining light in my feed and I absolutely loved our conversation. Keep an eye out for my episode on the Brave Babes Podcast.
Watching Wes Ride a Scooter. Dad took Max to school on Tuesday, and decided to ride the spare Razor hanging in the garage. Cool Dad alert.
Ice Cream Date. The boys and I had a spontaneous visit to Sweet Scoops on Wednesday night, and it was such a treat.
Reading and Listening to Music with Max. We cuddled up on his bed and read The Bad Guys while listening to Post Malone on Wednesday afternoon. It was one of those simple, yet special moments.
Geeking Out Over the Enneagram. This was one of my early quarantine interests, and it’s been so fun to pick up my RHETI results again. Have you taken the test? It is fascinating. Here’s the link to the free one. If you get into it as much as I did, then I highly recommend taking the RHETI.
My Mother-in-Love’s Risotto. If you know Lori Wallinger, then your mouth is watering. I showed up for an afternoon visit with the boys this week, and there was a bowl of this deliciousness waiting for me. Day. Made.
